The realization of a longtime dream born from the mountains of Western North Carolina, Salt Face Mule Brewing Co. finally opened on September lucky-number-13, 2023. This unique, family-friendly brewpub, miniature golf course, and gathering space serves up "honestly brewed" beers and Appalachian-inspired comfort food 7 days a week. Kick back and relax inside or on our dog-friendly patio or challenge your friends to a round of mini-golf. Can't go wrong at Salt Face Mule.

Our History

Salt Face Mule Brewing Co. promises to be one of the most unique brewpubs and gathering spaces in Asheville. In addition to brewing a selection of lagers, ales, and other exciting thirst-quenchers, and serving up delicious, down-home, Appalachian pub grub with a Twist, we also have one of Asheville's only miniature golf courses.

We brew honest beer for honest people. An easy drink after a long day’s work or when you’re just plain "Thirstier than a Salt Face Mule". With years of experience, we are paying respect to area traditions while we experiment with new brewing technology and trends. As far as our food goes, we will be staying true to our authentic Appalachian roots cooking up comfort food with a Twist; deliciously nostalgic and new all at once.
